Awards
The Cyberjournalism Observatory (ObCiber) – a structure from Centro de Estudos de Tecnologias e Ciências da Comunicação (CETAC.media) – promotes this year the 3rd edition of the Cyberjournalism awards, who aim to honor yearly the best productions in news media in Portugal.
On Semptember 15th will open the nominations period, which will last one month. Portuguese news sites with regular updates on the Web – either generalist, thematic, national, regional and academic – can apply to the Awards.
As happened in the previous editions, the awards will be delivered in the categories of “General Excellence in Cyberjournalism”, “Breaking News”, “Multimedia Reportage”, “Online Videojournalism”, “Digital Infographics” and “Academic Cyberjournalism”.

The ceremony will take place during the II International Congress of organizing, which will take place at the University of Oporto, on 09 and 10 December.
